В современной мировой практике С.к акционерного общества, компании — сумма номинальных стоимостей акций плюс капитал, внесенный сверх номинальной (или объявленной) величины, нераспределенная прибыль, резервы и добавочный капитал от переоценки активов. В РФ в С.к акционерного общества включаются:. уставный капитал плюс добавочный капитал и резервный капитал, нераспределенная прибыль и прочие резервы. Таким образом, С.к. включает акционерный капитал, но не обязательно ограничивается этим: сюда относятся также доли собственности в партнерствах, кооперативах, индивидуальных предприятиях, опционы и варранты. Часто в литературе термины С.к. и акционерный капитал используются как синонимы, что, как видно из сказанного, не вполне правомерно. См. также Чистые активы.
